The thirty year old Amerie Mi Marie Rogers has done it again. The two-time grammy- nominated American artist (singer, songwriter, producer and actress) is best known for her hit single 1Thing. If you thought that was good, then you have another thing coming. Amerie released her fourth studio album In Love and War on November 3, 2009.

Amerie started recording In Love and War in 2008. This album consists of fourteen hot tracks. Out of the fourteen, she produced six tracks with the help of other well-known producers like Antonio L.A Reid, Lenny Nicholson, The Buchanans, Warryn Campbell and more. Amongst the six are, Dangerous; Why R U; The Flowers; Pretty Brown. The album features collaborations with artists like Fabulous, Lil Wayne and Trey Songz.The second track on the album, Heard Em All is the first official single. On the very same album, the official remix of the song featuring Lil Wayne is also featured. Both versions are featured on the album.

In order to promote her album, Amerie released three singles. Why R U was the first to be released on the 15th of June, followed by Heard ?Em  All on the 15th of September and the last one was Pretty Brown on the 20th of October. This was all in 2009. In January 2010, a music More Than Love was released. That is the track in which she featured Fabulous.

Amerie has received a positive response from the American fans about her album as the sales went sky high within a week of the release. By the 9th of November 2009, In Love and War had sold 12,421 copies in the United States (US). It was ranked 46 on the US Billboard 200, number 3 on the Top RnB/Hip Hop Album chart and number 29 on the Top 40 RnB Albums in the United Kingdom (UK).

In Love and War is available in all stores worldwide. It is available both on CD and Digital download.
